About
I have been around computers since the early 1980s and was there when personal computers were introduced to replace mainframe computers in both the Education Department and in the Department of Defence.
My whole working life has therefore been surrounded by and influenced by, the continuing integration and adoption of computers and computer applications into our lives.
I have always found technology, and more importantly what it can do for us and how it can enhance what we do, a very exciting and interesting area. I am always looking to be involved and to find ways to best use technology to improve what we do each day.
From systems administrator in the Department of Defence, to assisting with the very early introduction of a database system to manage the selection and promotion of executive level teachers in the NSW Education Department, to writing simple systems to help with childcare centre management to working in a Primary school as a technical support officer, I have always sought to find the best way to introduce, use and manage technology for the best possible outcomes.
Working with iDesignIT allows me to continue this passion and help schools (teachers, students, and administrators) to introduce, and manage technology in the most efficient, and productive way for all concerned. As well as having fun and showing everyone how much fun Technology in schools can be!
