Terranora Public School needed assistance to prepare their school for going 1:1 in the junior school and BYOD iPad for their senior school. They invested heavily in technology to support their future-focused learning strategies and wanted to make sure they implemented the technology to improve student learning outcomes.

Tyla Jenkins our Education Solutions Officer worked 1 day a week executing our teacher-focused tech support model whereby every teacher was provided support that they needed in their classrooms. Through this process, we were able to provide the school advice around what technologies were supporting learning opportunities and which technologies were not. Through this process were able to build a technology register of sustainable learning tools and provide focused tech support to make sure those tools were highly available to teachers and students.

Ben Young our Director focused on increasing the tech capacity of four teachers using current best practice technology integration frameworks. The goal of the coaching was to encourage teachers to openly share their new knowledge with one another teacher. This process reduced the schools’ reliance on externally run technology professional development by supporting the existing culture of ongoing internal professional learning.
