Centaur Public School
Centaur Public School needed an affordable tech professional to help with managing their 100+ iPad fleet as well as provide general school-based tech support to release the IT Coordinator to focus more on their teaching role.
Scott Taylor one of our ICT Support Officers works two days a week at Centaur providing the required technical support and iPad management. Scott visits each teacher every morning to provide tech support to make sure that teachers and students have the best possible access to the learning tools.
On top of the school-based support that Scott provides, the school enjoys receiving remote technical support and consultancy from 9am-4pm Monday to Friday.
Scott is a local to the area who is currently completing his TAFE Certificate IV in Information Technology at Kingscliff TAFE. iDesignIT mentors Scott through his studies and provides him with the required training to further his career in IT.
- 130 + iPads are now managed in ZuluDesk MDM
- The IT Coordinator is now free to focus on their teaching role
- Tech support issues were reduced by 50% in the first term
- After three school terms teachers didn’t need to log tech support requests which meant they had more time to focus on teaching and learning with technology.
